From listing a vehicle to handing over the keys.

Follow a Kenyan yard selling a Toyota Fielder in a single-payment transaction. Each stage connects stock, buyer, agreement, verified funds and handover without confusing a reported payment with cleared money.

THE SCENARIO

A transaction in practice

A Nairobi yard lists a 2018 Toyota Fielder for Kshs 1,450,000. A buyer agrees to purchase it and makes a bank transfer. The staff member records the buyer’s payment reference, but finance still checks the bank confirmation before marking the sale settled.

All customer, price and vehicle details are fictional. They illustrate a workflow; they are not completed transactions inside the application.

AUTOMATION VS HUMAN CONTROL

What ABS helps organise

Linked vehicle and deal information reduces repeated data entry; internal payment and workflow records highlight incomplete settlement.

What ABS does not yet automate

Payment verification is manual; there is no automatic bank or M-Pesa reconciliation. Legally final agreements and signed-document retention require review.
